Inclusion & Integration Support
The belief that every child has an equal right to a happy summer camp experience is at the heart of our planning and we remain committed to ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. To accomplish this, we rely strongly on the partnership of parents, which begins early on with open communication. Please take the time to make us aware of any medical, behavioural, social, or cognitive differences your child may have at the time of registration. This might include social anxieties, communication barriers, the tendency to run or wander away from the group, or simply requiring additional “body breaks” or extra attention. Our Inclusion team is comprised of dedicated and caring individuals trained in behaviour management strategies and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention. We work closely with families to offer various levels of support including 1:1 support workers, low-ratio staffing, camp buddies, and individual accommodation plans. For questions or to discuss your child’s participation in camp, please reach out to [email protected]
