Have a few hours a week, a month, a year? Dovercourt Recreation Centre is always looking for committed community volunteers to help us achieve our community goals. Gain valuable experience, help continue the community spirit or make a difference in someone’s life.
Volunteer opportunities available: Special event assistants, Centre greeters, assist a senior in a fitness class, help a developmentally delayed child participate in a program. The possibilities are limitless.
Co-op Placements
We welcome students (high school, college) who want to complete community involvement hours but we do require a minimum of a 40-hour commitment. Students should contact the department they wish to work with.
