Wild Wild Westboro Garage Sale, Sat. Jun 1, 2013, 8-11am

Yeehaw, it's that time of year again! Whether you are buying or selling treasures, it's a fun time outside with your friends and neighbours, gathered 'round the Dovercourt Wading pool area. See the poster for more details (pdf).

Tables are available to rent for $10 from Dovercourt and can be booked online, in person or by phone (613-798-8950 ext. 227). See the table map to choose your table number before registering. To register online, see our the Garage Sale listing under "Community Events" on our online registration website. 

Please note that there is NO rain date (Table rentals will be refunded if it is rained out).

This is a fundraising event by our community partner, the Westboro Community Association

Dance Recital ticket sales on sale now

The annual Dovercourt Dance Recital will take place on Sat. June 22, 2pm at Notre Dame High School Auditorium. Ticket (with assigned seating) for adults are $8.50 & children $6.50. Visit the main (upstairs) desk to see the seating map and purchase your tickets.

Mother's Day Roses for Sunday May 12

Order roses for that special someone, $30/ dozen, delivered on Sat. May 11. Delivery areas include Orleans, Vanier, Ottawa, Westboro, Nepean, Kanata, Stittsville, Manotick, Aylmer, Gatineau.

Order deadline is Fri. May 3. Order in person at Dovercourt or by phone 613-798-8950 ext. 0 (cash, cheque, debit or credit card).

Available through Kiwanis Club of Ottawa West and Dovercourt Recreation Association. A donation from the sale of roses will be made to our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, CHEO.

Spring programs are underway

Register now for Spring programs including fitness, sports, swim lessons, skateboarding, and more! Check our Spring flyers for all ages online on our Schedules page; printed flyers are also available in the Centre.

Westboro Nursery School to remain at Dovercourt in 2013-2014!

We are very pleased to announce that working in partnership with Dovercourt, the nursery school will remain in its current location and will not be moving to McKellar Park.

Registration for the 2013-2014 year is already in full swing.  To avoid disappointment, visit our website, www.westboronurseryschool.ca, download and fill out your registration forms today!

Before & After School Care registration is underway

Registration for all Before and After School Care programs for the 2013-2014 school year began Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 at 8am in the upstairs lobby at Dovercourt, and is on-going throughout the year. Please note that registration must be done in person and deposits are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable.

Our 25th Anniversary on CTV Morning Live

Steve Nason (Senior Director of Programs) and Trish Stolte (Director of Marketing & Communications) visited CTV Morning Live to speak with Lianne Lang about Dovercourt's 25th Anniversary… and ended up holding an impromptu hoop jam.
