Please note: Because we are not directly associated with City of Ottawa, we are not able to process any form of room rental until you create a Dovercourt Account. Please visit our Account page to either login to your account or to create an account.

- Your booking will not be confirmed until payment has been received in full, and a rental agreement has
been signed and returned. - Cancellations will be accepted with at least 21 days’ notice before the booking date, options include:
- A refund back to the original payment method less a $20 administration fee.
- A credit for the full value paid issued to your Dovercourt account.
- All cancellation requests made with less than 21 days’ notice will not be refunded or credited.
- Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances or for medical reasons if a medical certificate is provided.
- No alcohol or drugs are permitted on the premises. Renters or attendees who appear intoxicated will be refused their room without a refund.
- Room capacity limits are to be enforced without exception. If the number of attendees differs from what was originally booked, additional fees may be incurred.
- Key(s) for rental space (if applicable) will be returned to Dovercourt staff within 2 hours after the rental end time. If rental end time exceeds Dovercourt customer service desk hours, key(s) can be returned to the drop box at the front door.
- Renter must be at least 18 years old, and always be present at the rented space during the agreed rental period.
- Tables and chairs will be provided by Dovercourt facilities staff based on availability and room capacities.
- Facilities staff will bring tables and chairs to and from the rental space, as requested.
- All set up and tear-down of tables and chairs will be done by facility staff.
- Renters are responsible for cleaning the rental space after rental period is over.
- Set up and take down time will be included in the rental period and will be an additional charge if over 30 minutes.
- Sports/fitness equipment in Dovercourt’s storage rooms/cabinets will not be available to renters. If equipment is used without authorization, penalties will be applied. Extra fees will apply if equipment is damaged.

Tables and chairs are available and will be set up by our facility staff; all other setup and tear-down is the responsibility of the renter.

411 Dovercourt Ave. Free parking is available.

- Second floor: Gym, Assembly Hall, Studio, Board room

Our Pool
The indoor Pool is not available to be rented or booked privately. Instead, you may register for a drop-in swim.
Please see our drop-in swim schedule for available swims. Drop-in swims can be registered up to 7 days in advance. If you are planning to book a large party of people for the swim, please coordinate with our Rentals Team so that they can register the correct amount of people. Without sufficient notice, we will be unable to register all participants for the swim regardless of a room having been booked.

Board Room

The Board room is located on the second floor of the Dovercourt Recreation Centre with south-facing windows looking out to Dovercourt Avenue. Suitable for boardroom-style meetings or small groups. Click to see larger images.
The Cottage
Small room, 25 people, $50/ hr
This former school portable has been transformed into a meeting space when not in use for summer camp office. Featuring a high, peaked roof with floor to ceiling north-facing windows and a front deck that gives this room an outdoor, cottage feel. Click to see larger photos.
Activity Room
Medium room, 922 sq. ft., 50 people, $75/ hr. Approx. 46.6ft x 23 ft (1072 sq ft); 14.2m x 7m
The Activity Room, sponsored by Carling Motors Volvo & Mazda, is an 1100 square foot room located on the first level just inside the lower-level entry. It features west-facing windows, as well as a sink and fridge.
McKellar Park Field House
Medium room, 50 people, $75/ hr. Offsite at 539 Wavell Ave.
This large community space is bright and cheery, with a full wall of south-facing windows and entryway facing the children’s play park. This room is ideal for small community meetings and children’s parties. The main room features mirrors on one wall, a kitchenette and an ensuite bathroom. Click the photos to see larger images.
Assembly Hall
Large room, 1987 sq. ft. 115 people max, $100/ hr.
The Assembly Hall, sponsored by the Ottawa Physiotherapy & Sport Clinics, is Dovercourt’s largest room. Located on the 2nd floor, it is just under 2,000 square feet of space with west-facing windows. Click the photos to see larger images.
Gym
Large room, 1659 sq. ft., 15 people, $100/ hr.
The gym is our newest room, sponsored by the Morris Home Team. It features high ceilings and 1700 square feet of space. Unique elements include a sprung hardwood floor and plenty of windows facing onto Dovercourt Avenue as well as into the indoor pool! Click to see larger images.
