Important Registration Information
Please ensure your child’s profile includes a parent’s email address, phone number, and address. Camp-related information will be sent to this address via email. Additionally, your child’s profile should include any allergies or relevant medical information, as well as indicate if they carry an EpiPen.
Kinder Campers (ages 4 & 5): In your child’s profile, there’s a tab for authorized sign-out. When adults collect your child at the end of camp, they’ll need to show valid ID to the camp director. This person should be listed in our system as an authorized adult to pick up your Kinder camper.
Inclusion Support: If your child needs extra support to succeed in camp, please check the “Inclusion Support” checkbox and email inclusion@dovercourt.org with your child’s name and the camp. We’ll then arrange a phone call or meeting to discuss next steps.
Payments
When booking online, you have the option to pay for the camp(s) in full using a credit card or to pay half now and half later. To split the payment, be sure to select Summer Camp Split Payment on your checkout screen.
When using the Split Payment feature, 50% of the fee is due at the time of booking, and 50% will be automatically charged to your credit card on June 1, 2026.
You will receive a reminder email on May 1 about the second payment.
Please ensure that your credit card information is up to date in your account prior to June 1, 2026 for the 2nd payment.
Cancellations
If programs are cancelled by Dovercourt (or by provincial or local health authorities), all fees will be refunded in full to the same method of payment.
To cancel or modify a camp registration, please email info@dovercourt.org with your child’s name, the name of the camp, and the date of the camp. Cancellations cannot be done online.
Refunds will be provided up to 3 weeks (21 days) prior to the start date and subject to a $20 administration fee (this fee is waived if the amount is left as an account credit).
Within 3 weeks (21 days) of a program start, refunds and credits will not be issued other than in extraordinary circumstances, and with medical documentation.
Camp Hours

| 8:30am-9:00am | Sign-in with your Camp Director |
| 9:00am-4:00pm | Day Camp Activities |

Most of our activities begin by 9:15, which may mean travel by bus or walking to a different program room, space, or facility. If you arrive after 9:15am and do not see your child’s group, please visit the camp office and we will sign in your child with his or her camp, or direct you to the right place to meet them.
If your child is not registered for Extended Care, please sign them out by 4:30pm. Any children not signed out at that time are checked into post-camp with other campers and your account may be billed for the use of extended care. Should you require last-minute late pick up, please call the camp office prior to 4:00pm so that we can update your registration.
Driving and Biking to Camp
Every day, a lot of campers arrive at camp in a short window of time. To keep everyone safe, we ask that you note the following:
- Our parking lot is a one-way loop. Follow the loop around to find parking.
- Avoid dropping off your child on Golden Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue. These streets are narrow and not suitable for parking or drop-off. Instead, take a stroll around the block. There are nearby schools and other streets where you can park temporarily and walk your campers over to Dovercourt.
We have bike racks at the upper and lower entrances.
Please avoid lingering to keep traffic flowing safely. Our staff will be stationed in the parking lot to help with traffic control.
Offsite Activities
We strive to offer our campers great camp experiences. We host a great many camps at Dovercourt, but we also include excursions that help give our participants bigger spaces to explore and exciting venues to visit.
Some of our camps go out to museums, farms, beaches, and other locations to bring a whole new level of fun.

Inclusion & Integration Support
The belief that every child has an equal right to a happy summer camp experience is at the heart of our planning and we remain committed to ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. To accomplish this, we rely strongly on the partnership of parents, which begins early on with open communication. Please take the time to make us aware of any medical, behavioural, social, or cognitive differences your child may have at the time of registration. This might include social anxieties, communication barriers, the tendency to run or wander away from the group, or simply requiring additional “body breaks” or extra attention. Our Inclusion team is comprised of dedicated and caring individuals trained in behaviour management strategies and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention. We work closely with families to offer various levels of support including 1:1 support workers, low-ratio staffing, camp buddies, and individual accommodation plans. For questions or to discuss your child’s participation in camp, please reach out to inclusion@dovercourt.org
