are in the Specialty fee category, while classes denoted

is NOT your mother’s hula hoop! Hooping is an
exotic, graceful, dynamic and sexy reinvention of hula-hooping
that was reignited on the US West Coast, and is sweeping
the continent. New hoops, larger & heavier than
in the past, are easier to spin, so even if you think
you can't hoop, you can!

The benefits of walking with 20 - 40% more caloric
expenditure! Developed in Finland, it's now sweeping
North America. Low impact, but excellent for cardio,
posture and upper body strength because of the use of
poles and technique. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Nordic Walking poles will be provided at a small rental
fee, or participants may bring their own.

Through slow, gentle, verbally-guided movement sequences,
Awareness Through Movement will help you learn how to
improve posture and balance, feel better and less stressed,
reduce discomfort in your back and neck and overall
aches and pains. Rosa Murnaghan, a certified Feldenkrais
Practitioner, will help you discover easier, more graceful,
pain-free movements.

TAI CHI
Tai Chi is an exercise that provides a gentle
yet effective mind/body workout. It is a series of slow
movements that helps increase balance, flexibility,
muscle strength and self - confidence. Tai Chi can lower
blood pressure, reduces pain from arthritis and fibromyalgia,
and improves overall energy and stamina. We offer mid-day
Tai Chi for 50+, and an evening program that is open
to all ages.
