Our Pilates matwork program is based on Joseph Pilates’ original exercises that focus on core stabilization, abdominal and lower-back strength and flexibility.

Develop length and strength with our Stott & Classic trained instructor team.

Teen Yogalates This fusion of Yoga and Pilates will blend the Yoga tradition; focus of strength, flexablility, balance and meditation with Pilates which focuses on building strength in the deep muscles of the abdominal region, the body's core.
Essential

An introductory level suitable for novice participants. Program will focus on basic movements with particular attention to technique breathing and relaxation.

Intermediate

A transitional class between Essential & Intermediate/ Advanced levels, this class is most suitable for those who have already taken the Essential level.

 

Intermediate/ Advanced For those seeking a more challenging core workout beyond the Intermediate level. The class moves quickly through the exercises while maintaining proper technique. Participants must be very experienced at the Intermediate level.
Pilates/ Yoga Mix

Enjoy the benefits of both yoga & Pilates: improve strength, flexibility and balance in the yoga segment, then perform a series of Pilates exercises that target the core. Offered at Intro & Intermediate level.

 

Pilates/ Yoga Mix with Equipment

Experience the best of Pilates & yoga, with the added challenge of equipment like Ball, Bosu, rings, bands. Intermediate level of Pilates is required.

 

Pilates with Baby

Pilates is the perfect program for the new mom, with its focus on abdominals, core and the pelvic floor. Pre-crawling babies are welcome, and will be part of the workout. All levels; no previous Pilates experience is necessary.

 

Pilates Express

A great option for the time-pressed, experienced participant: an advanced, streamlined routine that gives the total-body benefits of Pilates in a condensed timeframe.

new! Restorative Yoga Restorative Yoga is a gentle & therapeutic style of yoga that relaxes the body in a sequence of restful Hatha yoga postures. It is taught at a slow pace promoting conscious relaxation, with the intention of helping participants wind down after their busy work week. The class is appropriate for beginners and more experienced students alike.
Teen Yogalates

Prenatal Yoga (suitable for beginners)

Stay healthy during pregnancy with yoga postures to stretch and strengthen the entire body. Breath work will relax and deepen your experience.

 

Shanti Prental Yoga

Soften, listen and make room for the baby, first in your body, then in your life. This class gives time to connect to oneself, but also to share with other Moms in a supportive environment. The movements are slow and mindful with an emphasis on breath and release with specific back care and positions for labour.With Anne Pitman.

 

Shanti Baby & Mom yoga

Explore and settle in to this new life experience of motherhood. This class focuses on self attunement, pelvic structural alignment, core body strength, mid-upper back opening and release, gentle breathing & full body relaxation. Babies welcome from 3 weeks to 9 months. With Anne Pitman.

 

Gentle yoga
(all Levels)

Gentle yoga is an ideal place for many beginners to start yoga. Through modified basic yoga positions, one can build strength, flexibility and a strong core as well as attaining physical & emotional balance.

 

Yoga for a Healthy Back

A very gentle yoga class that will cultivate a balance to strengthen the spine as well as lengthen and stretch muscles. It is ideal for mild, chronic, or even intense back pain, or simply to avoid future back problems. This class is based on a yoga practice demonstrated to be very effective for working through back pain or maintaining a healthy back.

 

Yoga Fusion

A flowing blend of different yoga influences inspire this class, drawing upon postures & movements in hatha, kundalini and other yoga styles. The class begins with a series (e.g. Sun Salutation etc.), moves to dynamic postures, and includes a section of static poses.

 

Strong & Flexible through Yoga

This class will explore different postures to benefit both your strength and your flexibility. The class will be based on the Ashtanga lineage but will explore other possibilities as well. Breath work and meditation will also be taught. A sound base of yoga or fitness is required – not recommended for beginners.

 

Yoga Stretch & Strength

Build muscle strength and flexibility while challenging both the mind and the body.

 

Shanti Yoga
(Intermediate level)

Be yourself! Unlearn habitual tension, be present and feel fully alive in an unhurried experience of yoga. "Infinite time and no ambition": based on the work of Vanda Scaravelli, Shanti Yoga creates space for reflection, release and rejuvenation, by following the body instead of working against it. Come home to yourself through this gentle, mindful and embodied practice. With Anne Pitman

 


Tai Chi Harmony

The martial art of Yang Tai Chi increases your flexibility, decreases your stress, and improves your overall health through a series of choreographed movements.

Tai Chi

 

There are many benefits to doing Tai Chi. While doing the series of gentle moves, you will increase your muscle strength, flexibility, stamina and relaxation.

Tai Chi may also decrease stiffness and pain. Movements can be modified for the needs or weaknesses of individuals. So if you have poor balance, aches and pains – or none of these – come out for some fun!
