Enjoy the benefits of working out in a group! We pride ourselves in offering you a dynamic and well rounded Group Fitness program.

With your Unlimited Fitness Pass, you can attend any of the classes on the Group Fitness schedule from 6:30 am, morning classes and evening, as well as weekend as well as make use of our Fitness Centre (weight & cardio room). Available in 3 month plan ($112) or 1 month plan ($37.50). 10 visit "Try It" passes are also available.

Please scan your Membership card at the upstairs front desk before entering the Assembly Hall for your class. All Group Fitness classes take place in the Assembly Hall.

Group Fitness Class Descriptions

All of these fabulous classes are available with your Unlimited Fitness Pass!

LOW IMPACT
A dynamic fitness class that emphasizes proper form, safety and cardiovascular conditioning as well as options for intensity and complexity.

LOW TO THE CORE, LOW PLUS, LOW FUSION

Variations on the basic low impact format, with additions of core-specific work and use of equipment like ball, body bar and weights or influences from Pilates, yoga and other mind-body techniques.
CORE INTERVAL Build core strength through intervals, variety & fun! This class will add spice & play to your regular routine, and is suitable for adults & athletic kids. Using the Bosu Balance Trainer and a variety of other tools (skipping ropes, weighted balls, body bars, fitness balls & more) you will work your heart, build functional strength, and develop agility & balance.

GOLD CLUB
(SENIORS)

Designed for the active mature client, this low impact fitness program includes a cardiovascular component, light strength training and stretching in a friendly social atmosphere.
STEP A fun, multi-level class with simple combinations on the Step, followed by strength & stretching.
STRENGTH MIX
Strengthen and define your muscles, plus gain core stability and balance. Barbells, fit ball, tubing and hand weights are used. No cardio.
SKIP CIRCUIT
A circuit training class that alternates short intervals of skipping with strength/power stations, for a total body workout. Dynamic and fun! All levels.

SPORTY
MOMS

For new moms and moms-to-be, this class offers a complete workout of low impact or step cardio, body toning and stretching. Involve your baby in your workout: babies are in the workout room with their moms, or Kinderkorner is available for tots on the move.
STEP INTERVAL
Mix it up for an exhilarating workout! The formula: 3 1/2 minutes of simple (but powerful) Step, 1 1/2 minutes of strength, and 1 minute of skipping; Repeat!
CARDIO FUSION Cardio, strength, flexibility and balance in one class! Large range-of-motion, powerful movements work your heart; a series of yoga poses builds strength, length, balance & a mind-body harmony.
BOOT CAMP BLAST Welcome GI Joes & Janes! Are you ready for an intense fast-paced, militarystyle,
interval-training class? Classes include jumping jacks, pushups, boxing, abs, running, and a variety of crazy hard core drills.
GINETTE'S VARIETY CLASSES Ginette Deslauriers, one of the most creative and popular instructor/ presenters in Canada, presents a weekly Variety class on Thursday mornings at 8:30, including Kardio Knockout, Top Gun & Rock Bottom, Roller Coaster, Boot Camp, Swing, Urban Tai Chi and more! Join Ginette for something new and exciting every week.
TOTAL BODY BALL Ginette uses the Ball in ways you have never dreamed in a class that will leave you feeling strong, tall and fit.
