Enjoy our warm 87 degrees pool. We offer a wide variety of aquafitness classes, divided into several categories: General, Specialty, Small Group & Personal Training. Classes are 45 minutes unless otherwise specified. The pool may be shared with another program at the same time as your class.

GENERAL AQUAFITNESS PROGRAMS
AQUA BUDDHA CAMP - NEW! This is a mindful aquatic answer to the aquatic boot-camp craze, with an aggressive fusion of effective and intense series that all flow from Yoga to Pilates to T'ai Chi. Combine the most challenging aquatic adaptations from those disciplines with a unique format philosophy and join the aquatic Buddha Camp craze!
AQUAFIT ZUMBA

This is the aqua fitness program everyone has been waiting for! Aqua Zumba® incorporates all the fun of Zumba® (high-intensity dance movements) with the gentle support of the water. Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries. A fusion of Latin and International music create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness system!

 

WAKE-UP WORKOUT

These early morning multi-level aqua programs focus on correct form and technique. Use the properties of water to achieve a total body workout. A great way to get in a work out before work.

 

AFTER WORK AQUA

Want to get a workout in before you head home? This is the class for you! This multilevel aqua program focuses on correct form and technique. Use the properties of water to achieve a total body workout.

 

AQUA FIT

A general class that gets you back to basics! This shallow water class focuses on correct form and technique, and uses the properties of water to achieve a full body workout. Our instructors will meet the needs of a wide spectrum of fitness levels, and is suitable for novices and advanced participants alike!

 

 

 

SENIOR AQUA

An aquafitness class designed for the more mature adult. Exercises are performed with your health, safety and enjoyment in mind.

 

SPORTY MOMS AQUA

Enjoy the benefits of an aquafitness workout and the company of other new moms, with your baby in the pool, floating in an infant floatation device.

 

 

PRENATAL AQUA

This class offers a safe and effective fitness program for mom-to-be. Exercises are low impact and easy on the joints and the lower back.

 

TOTAL AQUA

A total body tune-up is what you will get in this aqua combo class that features cardio, strengthening and toning, balance, core stability, and coordination and agility. Get all the components of fitness in one class!

 

CARDIO POWER AQUA

This high-energy class is jam-packed with a variety of exciting intensity options and intervals to challenge even the most die-hard students. A complete workout full of energy, full of fun, and guaranteed to make you sweat!

 

CARDIO POWER DEEP AQUA

This high-energy class is jam-packed with a variety of exciting intensity options and intervals to challenge even the most die-hard students. A complete workout full of energy, full of fun, and guaranteed to make you sweat! This class takes place in deep water wearing a floatation aqua belt, but participants must be able to swim.

 

AQUA ZEN

Enjoy the uplifting atmosphere of our quiet pool space on a Friday evening. This course blends the styles and techniques from yoga and Pilates classes to create a unique balance of stretching and strengthening. Make your body feel tall, elongated, strong and balanced! Body and mind blend here to help improve circulation, posture and attitude.

 

DEEP GENTLE AQUA

 

The name says it all. Perfect for those who are just getting started with regular exercise or require a gentle low impact form of exercise. This class is held in the deep water. Participants will be wearing an aqua belt, but must be able to swim.

 

LIQUID A.B.S.

 

Discover the ultimate abdominal and lower back workout, utilizing the physical properties of water. Strengthen your body from the inside out. This course is taught in the deep water.

 

DEEP AQUA

Get deep into aqua with this low impact workout that is challenging and relaxing. All participants wear aqua belts for floatation but must be able to swim without assistance.

 

REHAB CLASSES
HEALTHY BACK AQUA

This program is designed for clients experiencing new or chronic back pain. The exercises will develop core strength for overall stability, body awareness, and increase confidence in performing activities of day to day living.

 

AQUA ARTHRITIS

Ideal for arthritics, seniors or rehab patients, this class focuses on strengthening and stretching the muscles that support the joints and increasing overall range of motion.

 

DEEP WATER
AQUA ARTHRITIS

A low impact workout similar to regular Aqua Arthritis, but in the deep water. All participants wear aquabelts, but must be able to swim without assistance.

 

POST STROKE AQUA

Designed for stroke survivors, this program offers a safe environment for individuals to perform exercises that will increase their functional ability. Clients are encouraged to bring an assistant.

 

MOVEMENT THERAPY

A course designed for those with impaired movement due to injuries, chronic pain, or illness including those with: post-stroke, fibromyalgia, arthritis, Parkinson’s, CFS, MS, and muscular dystrophy. Use the healing properties of warm water to safely exercise and strengthen joints and muscles while improving range of motion, flexibility, and balance. Helps participants retain their physical functioning and independence.

 

FM AQUA
(Fibromyalgia Aqua)

A specially designed aqua program encouraging activity and wellness, for individuals who suffer from the debilitating effects of fibromyalgia.


SMALL GROUP

H20 running

Increase weekly mileage and eliminate the risk associated with repetitive impact during outdoor runs. Designed to improve your lactic threshold and V02 max. Participants are tethered in deep water to maximize correct running form.

 

PERSONAL TRAINING
PRIVATE

Not quite ready to join a group class? We can help you to regain your mobility, independence and confidence through a private or semi-private session. Your fitness level and recovery time will both improve.

If the following critieria are met, this program can be recommended for those with or without known cardiac disease who are looking for an appropriate exercise program.

A HeartWise exercise program:

  • Has an emergency plan that is documented and known to all leaders, including current CPR certification, phone access to EMS and presence of an Automatic External Defibrillator
  • Provides health screening for all participants.
  • Accepts participants with a known history of cardiac disease – provided they have physician approval.
  • Allows participants to exercise at low intensity, and has progressive options to increase intensity if appropriate.
  • Incorporates and encourages warm up, cool down and self-monitoring with all exercise sessions.
  • Encourages regular, daily aerobic exercise.
