The best summer Day Camps for ages 4 to teen in Ottawa
Every year we create new camps that we think you’ll love. We review and make just the right number of changes to your favourite camps, to keep them fresh and interesting. Theme camps and specialty camps are all designed to provide campers with exciting and unique opportunities, satisfying nearly every curiosity. Dovercourt offers the most amazing variety of Summer Day Camp programs in the Ottawa area, providing lots to choose from for campers of every age, with the convenience of our central location and a one location pickup/ drop off.

Registering for Camps
You can register online, by phone (613-798-8950 ext. 0) or in person for all of our Camps. Details can be found in each of our Camp brochures, available on our Program Guide page.
A payment schedule can be set up for your convenience. 50% of the camp fee is due at the time of registration. The remaining 50% will be deducted from your credit card of choice 21 days before the camp start date. At this time, scheduled payments are available for all in-person and phone registrations. Online payment plans will be available soon.
Camp Hours & Extended Care
Camp starts at 9am and ends at 4pm. Need extended day care? Pre and Post camp is available for all campers each week.
$43/week. Pre-camp starts at 7:30am and post-camp runs until 6:00pm.
Fee includes both pre and post camp as well as a post camp snack provided to all campers at 5:15pm.
Saturday, June 10, 2017th is Camp Day.
Come for a tour, meet the camp staff, and try some of our favourite camp activities including swimming and rock climbing. 12:00-4:00pm.
Camp newsletters with information on drop off and pick up, highlights for the week, staff information, and what to bring lists will be available during the week before each camp program. Check online on our day camps page beginning in June.
Make camp mornings easy!
Convenient lunch & snack package provided by Adam’s Apple Café, which you can add at the time of your camp registration.
$45 includes drink, fruit, snacks & sandwich or wrap.
Camp swims are incorporated into many of our program plans and appropriate staff-to-camper ratios are maintained during all camp swims.
- Campers younger than 6 years old must wear a personal flotation device (provided by us) and remain in the baby pool and the ramp area.
- Campers who are 6 years old and older will be allowed in the shallow part of the pool, and those who pass a swim test will be permitted in the deep end.
Most camp groups will not be swimming each day, so please refer to your camp’s newsletter for specific swim days.
Please note that our indoor pool is usually closed during the last week of summer for annual maintenance. Some camps will make use of our wading pools during the last week of camp.
Special Needs & Extra Support
Dovercourt is strongly committed to the inclusion of campers with special needs. Please make us aware of any requirements for medical or other conditions at the time of registration, so that our management team can help arrange for any additional supports or resources that your child may require in camp.
