Rookie:
Compact jump; eggbeater 1 min; head up front crawl or breast
stroke 25m; back and breast strokes 100m each; 2x 25m sprints;
300m endurance swim.
Ranger: Lifesaving kick 25m;
endurance swim 350m; timed swim 100m in 3 minutes.
Star: Entries from a height;
eggbeater kick with movement 30 seconds; object support 5
lbs for 2 min and carry 25m; under water swim 10m; timed swim
200m in 6 minutes
Preferred successful completion – Rookie, Ranger.
Swim Patrol details: This is
a wonderful series of courses which prepare the participant
for Bronze Star and Aquatic leadership training. The focus
progresses in intensity and difficulty in the following areas:
Fitness, Proficiency Skills, First Aid and Rescue Skills.
